Factory 7 Shelly Beach is situated right in the heart of Shelly Beach, 1 mile from Saint Mikes Beach which is one of the KZN South Coast's most popular beaches. We are everything you would expect from a hardcore surf shop and we specialize in hardgoods like bodyboards and surfboards as well as the accessories and clothing that go hand in hand with it.
We do most of our passing trade from this store and its easy accessible. One can easily stop and run in for a leash or bar of wax and be on your way in no time. Martin Otto mans this store as a co-owner and has 14 years of experience in the surf retail industry. He is also a respected waterman with 17 years of water experience under the belt. Surfing and Bodyboarding lessons are also done from this store and all of our staff are trained to assist you in the fields of bodyboarding, surfing, paddleskiing and skateboarding.
We do our best to cater for young and old in all fields of ocean and beach going so expect to find anything from speedos, fishnets and armbands all the way through to lifejackets, bikinis and sunglasses. Our prices are very competitive and we accept cash, credit cards, debit cards and Internet payments.
Surf & Bodyboard Lessons
We offer both surf & bodyboard lessons from our Shelly Beach store. Lessons are aimed at
beginner to intermediate riders and are held at St Michaels beach which is a couple of minutes drive
from the store.
Rates:
1 person - R120pp per lesson (50mins)
2 people - R110pp per lesson (50mins)
3 people or more - R100pp per lesson (50mins)
Group rates available on request.
